Every person's perception of heat is different. For infrared saunas with deep-penetrating heat (Infrared B), a session duration of approximately 20 minutes at 100% intensity is recommended. At 50% intensity and with sufficient fluid intake, a session can easily be enjoyed for up to an hour.
If you want to use the infrared sauna for longer, ATROPA infrared saunas offer the option to regulate the intensity of the infrared heaters. After use, your back may become red from the radiation. This is normal and can last for up to two hours. If the redness persists longer, shorten the duration of your next session or reduce the intensity. Your skin will adapt to the new stimuli and increase blood circulation and sweat volume.
The table below contains only recommendations for using the infrared sauna, which can vary depending on your needs. Depending on your skin type, habits, and daily condition, the specified intensity may be perceived as too intense; in this case, please reduce the intensity by one level. When in doubt, please consult your doctor or therapist.
Depending on the ambient temperature and model, preheating times can vary (5 to 20 minutes). Please preheat to about 25°C before use.
