Excursus: For a long time, infrared sauna manufacturers limited themselves to seemingly arbitrarily arranged infrared heaters in the cabin. According to the motto: the main thing is that it gets warm.
ATROPA was the first manufacturer to recognize more than 15 years ago that while infrared heat is effective, targeted deep heat can achieve much more. In collaboration with experts, the first deep heat cabins were created, in which the entire spinal area could be irradiated without interruption. Gradually, inclined spinal heaters, front heaters positioned towards the body, and side heaters following the body's contour for the neck, shoulders, elbows, and hips were introduced.

The ATX - 2 not only has the 2nd generation LED color light panel, but also an LED light strip on the roof and under the seat. Both the LED panel and the color light strip are dimmable and offer a choice of 12 different colors as well as a daylight function and reading light. For an even cozier atmosphere, you can switch off the large LED panel separately and relax even better. You also have the option of switching on an automatic color change mode, where the colors change automatically according to the time you have chosen.

With the music system of the ATX - 2, you can relax to your favorite music. The system offers versatile connection options, including USB, Bluetooth, and AUX, so you can enjoy your music in the best quality.

After an initial, quite intensive internet search for infrared saunas from different manufacturers with their different heaters, we found Atropa's product portfolio very interesting. Especially the fact that they have both sitting cabins and various reclining cabins in their program appealed to us, as we were initially a bit undecided. Also, the fact that the cabins can be equipped with infrared B/C heaters as well as with full-spectrum heaters, we liked very much. To make the final product decision, we looked at the cabins on site in the showroom and got advice. Even though the journey of about 350km was relatively long, it was absolutely worth it. We found the advice to be very competent and detailed and at no time did we have the impression that something was being "pushed" on us. The opportunity to sit / lie in all the cabins in peace was also very helpful for the final decision. We finally decided on an ATX - 2 with full-spectrum heaters, as we found the heater arrangements in the sitting cabins to be "more optimal" for us. The possibility of being able to control each full-spectrum heater individually in the 2-person cabin through the new ATX regulation then tipped the scales for the new ATX series. We had looked at the cabin on Friday, paid online on Friday evening and had the cabin at our home by the following Tuesday afternoon. The assembly, including unpacking and carrying parts into the basement, was done within 2.5 hours, so that we could have our first infrared session that evening. I don't think it could have been any faster! That was really TOP! I was very satisfied with the quality and fit of the parts during assembly. The description is easy to follow, all parts were present and undamaged and fit together well. I found the self-assembly to be absolutely unproblematic and easy. Our experiences after the first 5 sessions are as expected. We are 100% satisfied with our new Infrared Sauna and regret that we did not decide to buy one earlier. In my opinion, the arrangement of the heaters is optimally solved within the possibilities of a double sitting cabin. We were particularly taken with the flexibly mounted and ergonomically shaped backrests. In our view, this is the perfect solution for a comfortable sitting position and maximum possible back radiation. Thanks to the individually adjustable full-spectrum heaters, it is possible to adapt each seat individually to personal preference. The possibility of reducing individual heaters by a percentage in the automatic program and the fact that this is then also adopted for the other performance levels of the automatic program surprised me very positively. This shows me that even small details were considered during development. In conclusion, I can only say that we are completely satisfied with the advice, the delivery, the assembly quality, and the operating experience. I can recommend the company Atropa without reservation!
