At the beginning of the search for a suitable infrared sauna, the important question arises: for sitting or for lying down?
Both types have their justification: while lying down relieves the spine, promotes relaxation, and thus makes the deep heat application very effective, sitting allows body regions to be irradiated that are difficult to reach in a lying position (e.g., the kidneys).
The ATR Relax 1 L combines the advantages of both systems by having a full-featured ATR seat in addition to the infrared lounger.
Nothing is more relaxing than unwinding in the lounger infrared sauna ATR - Relax 1 L while enjoying the beneficial infrared deep heat. After just a few minutes, muscles and joints are warmed through and tensions are released.
For the first time, viscoelastic AtroSoft® memory foam has been used in a lounger sauna,
which was developed for space travel and is otherwise only found in premium mattresses and other high-end products.
The high-tech material promotes blood circulation and adapts to the body shape, so that even longer infrared sessions become a pleasure. The lounger is covered with commercial-grade synthetic leather, which ensures long-lasting durability.
The premium lounger also includes a height-adjustable headrest, which can also be used in two positions (reading or relaxing). It is also padded with viscoelastic memory foam and is therefore pleasantly soft and yielding.
The lying position reduces the load on the individual vertebral bodies, which, in conjunction with IR-B and IR-C radiation, can quickly lead to pain relief, especially for back problems. The lounger has a SOLIS® deep heat infrared heater for the entire spinal area (from the neck to the lowest lumbar vertebra L5). In addition, two more SOLIS® deep heat infrared heaters are installed for the shoulders, upper body, and face (sinuses). Two CarboSens® panel heaters ensure a pleasant room climate and warm legs and feet.
The sliding footrest ensures that both smaller users and people up to a height of 195 cm have enough space and can lie comfortably. It is also padded with the high-quality viscoelastic AtroSoft® foam and covered with synthetic leather.
The seat has a full-featured flexible, ergonomic backrest with a deep heat heater for the entire spinal area and a deep heat heater arranged at an angle following the body's contours for the neck, shoulder, elbow, and hip.
The heart and great innovation of the second-generation ATR - Relax 1 L lounger infrared sauna is undoubtedly the premium leather lounger with the built-in SOLIS® deep heat heater for the entire spinal area.
The lounger has a SOLIS® deep heat infrared heater for the entire spinal area (from the neck to the lowest lumbar vertebra L5). In addition, there are two more SOLIS® deep heat infrared heaters for the shoulders, upper body, face (sinuses), and 1 deep heat heater for the knees and feet. Two CarboSens® panel heaters provide warm feet.
The seat also has two SOLIS® deep heat infrared heaters for the back and shoulder area and one SOLIS® deep heat infrared heater for the knees. A CarboSens® panel heater is installed on the floor.
The uninterrupted infrared deep heat radiation is a special highlight. No wooden slats or other interfering factors obstruct the radiation. The deep heat can penetrate unhindered into the tissue around the spine and unleash its healing effect there. Pain radiating from the spine is thus effectively relieved.
For particularly demanding users, there is a successful further development: the precise intensity control in one percent steps, with which the ATR - Relax 1 L infrared sauna can be adjusted almost steplessly.
Example 1: Is your back getting too hot, but you want to relax further? Then simply reduce the intensity of the back heater. At an intensity above 50%, the healthy deep heat effect is maintained; below that, the application corresponds to a bio-sauna with warming of only the uppermost skin layers.
Example 2: You have finished a therapy session but would like to stay in the infrared sauna a little longer to continue sweating and relaxing? Then you can simply reduce the intensity to keep the strain on your skin and circulation as low as possible.
The infrared heaters of the lounger and the seat can be controlled separately in intensity, in one-percent increments. In practice, this is particularly advantageous when users have different heat sensitivities. But even if the goals to be achieved with the infrared radiation differ, the individual seat control shows its strengths.
Example 1: You want to have a deep heat session, but your partner just wants to warm up? Then you can set the intensity for your infrared heaters up to 100%, while your partner sits next to you with a moderate intensity of, for example, 35%.
Example 2: After a long walk on a cold day, you want to warm up again and further strengthen your immune system. You are alone today, so you set your infrared heaters to, for example, 85%, while the seat remains switched off. This way, you can also benefit as much as possible from the low-temperature principle, as the overall air temperature remains low.
The ATR - Relax 1 L infrared deep heat sauna is equipped with an automatic program control. This changes the intensities of the infrared heaters fully automatically, depending on the time. There are four programs to choose from (Therapy, Detox, Refresh, and Soft-Infrared). Of course, individual adjustments can also be made during the automatic programs.
The MyFamily® memory function is certainly one of the most practical features of the ATR - Relax 1 L. It provides you with four MyFamily® memory slots, which you can fill with your preferred favorite settings. The next time you go into the infrared sauna, your favorite values regarding intensities of the infrared heaters, the desired maximum temperature, the application duration, and the lighting options can be easily loaded with the touch of a button.

The new 2nd generation LED color light therapy offers additional comfort and pleasant light in the infrared sauna. Both the reading light and the color light with 12 different colors can be dimmed. Furthermore, you have the option to activate the automatic color change mode. The duration of the individual colors can be freely chosen from 10 sec to 10 min per color.
The essential oils released into the room through the aromatherapy will delight your sense of smell and gently unfold their effect.
The new AtroSound® music system plays your favorite music through two high-quality speakers. It can be played via USB, Bluetooth®, as well as via AUX.
