Infrared Sauna ATR-1 - Premium therapy cabin with deep heat for one person

The ATR - 1 premium therapy cabin, with its many innovations and achievements, provides exceptional infrared deep-heat radiation and an extremely pleasant wellness experience. While externally similar to its sister cabins, the ATR - 1 goes several steps further in functionality and comfort.

SOLIS^® deep heat heaters (4G)

In the new Infrared Sauna ATR - 1 you will find 4 SOLIS^® deep heat infrared heaters of the 4th generation. These are ceramic magnesium oxide rod heaters with white sand filling, which ensure uniform and intensive IR-B and IR-C radiation.

In the ATR - 1, identical SOLIS^® deep heat heaters are used for the back, shoulders, and upper body for the first time. Furthermore, two CarboSens^® panel heaters have been installed in the floor and calf area of the ATR - 1, which heat the body and the cabin with IR-C.

All heaters can be switched off separately

All infrared heaters can be switched off separately and can therefore be adapted to your specific wishes. This relatively simple function results in a variety of application possibilities. But the immediate benefit can also be increased simply at the touch of a button.

Example: You cannot tolerate high temperatures and want to start a low-temperature application for your back? Then simply switch off the shoulder heaters and the front heater at the touch of a button. In this case, the air temperature rises only very slowly, the full deep-heat effect is retained, and back problems can be effectively relieved.

Deep heat where it's needed

The infrared heaters are not arranged arbitrarily in the Infrared Sauna. Rather, the heater arrangement for the Infrared Sauna ATR - 1 was completely redesigned in collaboration with physiotherapists and based on our many years of experience.

The SOLIS^® spinal heater is tilted backwards by 13° and thus contributes significantly to a more effective application. The lumbar spine area is particularly well reached by the inclination and warmed with deep heat radiation.

The lateral deep heat heaters, also tilted by 13°, irradiate the entire side of the upper body, the neck, the shoulders, as well as the elbows and the hip.

The angled front heater is aimed centrally at the upper body, which optimizes the deep heat radiation.

Excursus: For a long time, Infrared Sauna manufacturers limited themselves to what appeared to be arbitrarily arranged infrared heaters in the cabin. True to the motto: The main thing is that it gets warm.
ATROPA was the first manufacturer to recognize more than 15 years ago that while infrared heat is effective, targeted deep heat can achieve much more. In collaboration with experts, the first deep-heat cabins were created in which the entire spinal area could be irradiated without interruption. Gradually, tilted spinal heaters, front heaters positioned towards the body, as well as side heaters following the body's contour for the neck, shoulder, elbow, and hip were introduced.

Flexible, ergonomic backrest

Of course, the flexible, ergonomically shaped backrests made of selected Abachi wood are also tilted backwards, allowing for a very comfortable and relaxed posture. The individual vertebral bodies and the entire supporting apparatus are relieved. Without disturbing influences (such as wooden rungs), an uninterrupted spinal irradiation is guaranteed, and all the infrared heat can penetrate the skin unhindered. The backrest adapts perfectly to the body shape, the natural double-S shape of the spine is preserved and it is additionally relieved.

Intensity control

An innovative further development is the precise intensity control, which in the Infrared Sauna ATR - 1 can be regulated almost continuously in one percent steps.

Example: Are the infrared heaters too intense for you? Then simply reduce the intensity of the infrared heaters. The deep heat effect is maintained down to about 50%, below that the application corresponds to a bio-sauna.

Example: You have finished a therapy session, but would like to continue sweating and detoxifying in the Infrared Sauna for a little longer? Then you can simply reduce the intensity and keep the strain on the skin and circulation as low as possible.

2 - Zone - Control

With the innovative 2-zone control, the spinal heater can be controlled completely separately from the side heaters and the front heater. This allows you to optimally adapt the infrared radiation to your own needs and thus derive the greatest possible benefit from the application.

Example: You have back problems, but want to keep the circulatory load as low as possible? Then you can operate the deep heat heater at a high intensity and reduce the other infrared heaters to a comfortable, gentle level. The therapeutic effect remains at its maximum.

Automatic program control

The infrared heat cabin ATR - 1 is equipped with an automatic program control. This regulates the intensities of the infrared heaters fully automatically, depending on the time. There are four programs to choose from (Therapy, Detox, Refresh, and Soft-Infrared). Of course, individual adjustments can also be made in the programs.

Example: You notice during a therapy program that the back heater is too intense. Using the intensity control, you can easily reduce the intensity of the back heater for the program. The system saves the adjustment and adjusts accordingly during automatic intensity changes of the program.

MyFamily^® memory function

The MyFamily^® memory function is certainly one of the most practical features of the ATR - 1. It provides you with four MyFamily^® memory slots, which you can configure with your preferred settings. The next time you go into the Infrared Sauna, your favorite values regarding the intensities of the infrared heaters, the desired maximum temperature, the application duration, and the light options can be loaded with just one keystroke.

Example: At the beginning of each session, you want to achieve a high therapeutic effect for 15 minutes (Back: 95% intensity, Neck/Shoulder/Hip: 80%), at a maximum of 45°C and with red color light. One keystroke is enough, and your previously saved favorite settings are loaded.

Other equipment (optional)

To enhance well-being, the ATR - 1 has been equipped with a 2nd generation LED color light therapy. You can choose between 6 colors, which can also be dimmed, or you can select the color change mode to be bathed in light. The color change duration can be individually selected.

Through the essential oils released with the aromatherapy, you will delight your sense of smell and gain new energy.

With the music system of the ATR - 1, you can relax to your favorite music. The music system has USB, Bluetooth, as well as AUX.

To enjoy the Infrared Sauna with the greatest possible comfort even during longer sessions, the wellness package also includes the new AtroSoft^® Premium Seat Cushion made of viscoelastic foam with a high-quality and durable synthetic leather cover.

Thanks to the height-adjustable headrest, you can lean back and relax. This also relieves and supports your neck muscles.

In the ATR - 1 you will also find the new LaStone^® foot massage stones. These wonderfully pleasant obsidians contribute to relaxation via the reflex zones on the soles of the feet. They are attached to a removable wooden grate, so they can be easily removed without tools. The washable linoleum floor underneath can be cleaned easily and hygienically.

Wellness package

To round off the wellness experience in the ATR - 1, there is the Wellness Package, a comprehensive accessory package in which the most frequently used accessories are included at a special price. In this wellness package, you will find, for example: the color light therapy, the aromatherapy, the music system, the AtroSoft^® premium seat cushion, the height-adjustable headrest, and the LaStone^® foot massage stones.

Seating

The Infrared Sauna ATR-1 offers generous space for one person up to about 190 cm in height. The semi-circular side windows expand the field of vision and allow for a panoramic view to the outside. The extra-large and comfortable bench with a depth of 62 cm also allows for extended infrared sessions. The feet can be positioned on the heated linoleum floor, but also on the removable LaStone^® foot massage stones.

The outstanding feature of the ATR-1 is its arrangement of deep-heat heaters that follows the body's contour. The deep-heat infrared heater in the back area is tilted by 13°, to also reach the lumbar spine area more effectively. The two side infrared heaters are also tilted to simultaneously warm the neck, shoulders, elbows, and hip. The front infrared heater is tilted towards the upper body. Thus, the ATR-1 achieves optimal all-round radiation for one person.

Thanks to the calf and foot heater, the legs and feet are supplied with gentle infrared heat.
