The ATR - 2 XL is the big sister of the ATR - 2. It offers more legroom and a higher interior. This makes the ATR - 2 XL particularly suitable for people with a body height of over 180 cm. The standing height in the Infrared Sauna is 190 cm.
The ATR - 2 XL model is a premium therapy cabin for two people, offering extensive features and advanced, well-thought-out technology.
Physiotherapists and our many years of experience helped in the further development of the deep heat heaters, which can penetrate deeper and more effectively into the tissue. This allows problem areas to be treated more specifically and evenly.
Thus, the entire spinal area is treated and warmed without interruption by the 13° inclined back heaters with infrared deep heat, while you can relax and enjoy the infrared bath. The deep heat heaters are positioned to guarantee perfect infrared radiation from the lowest lumbar vertebra up to the neck. The flexible, ergonomic backrests made of high-quality Abachi wood ensure a comfortable and ergonomically correct posture. There are no disturbing influences (such as wooden rungs), so that the entire infrared heat can be transferred to the body without obstruction.
The 13° inclined shoulder heaters enable excellent radiation from the sides, so that the lateral neck, shoulders, elbows, and hips are warmed holistically. The lateral SOLIS® deep heat heaters are positioned so that the deep heat begins at the height of the bench and extends up to the neck, to miss no problem zone. To also ensure effective radiation from the front, the front infrared heaters were also aligned diagonally towards the body. The front heaters in the ATR-2 XL thus point to the center of the upper body, achieving an effective deep effect for the knees and upper body.
The SOLIS® deep heat heaters are used for the back, shoulders, and front area in the ATR - 2 XL. A total of six 4th generation SOLIS® deep heat infrared heaters are installed in the ATR - 2 XL. These infrared heaters are ceramic-magnesium oxide rod heaters with a white sand filling, which ensure uniform and intensive IR-B and IR-C radiation.
The proven CarboSens® panel heaters are installed in the floor and calf area (LOW-EMF technology), which warm the lower body evenly. Of course, each infrared heater can be switched off separately, as with all ATROPA Infrared Saunas. Thus, with the ATR - 2 XL, you have many control options to adapt the infrared radiation to your needs.
Example 1: If you have vein problems, you should avoid direct heat radiation on your calves. Since all infrared heaters in the ATR - 2 XL can be switched off separately, the foot and calf heaters can be easily turned off with the push of a button.
Example 2: After a hard day's work, you have severe tension in your back. But you don't feel like a long infrared bath and want to perform a targeted application to relieve your pain. Simply turn off all heaters except the back heater and enjoy the deep-acting therapeutic effect only in the back area. You can adjust the intensity according to your personal well-being.
Example 1: You are using the Infrared Sauna with another person. One desires more intense and the other less intense infrared radiation. On the display, you can set both seats as it suits your preferences and your well-being.
Example 2: You are using the ATR – 2 XL alone and want to enjoy a low-temperature application. For this, you can simply switch off the heaters of the other seat. The room temperature remains reduced. You can individually regulate your own seat in terms of intensity. If the intensity is set above 50%, the deep heat effect is fully maintained; below that, the application corresponds approximately to that of a bio-sauna.
As with all ATR Infrared Saunas, the new ATR - 2 XL also includes the automatic program control, with its preset program sequences you can enjoy an excellent wellness experience for various application areas. In these programs, the intensities of the infrared heaters are automatically adjusted depending on the time. Four programs (Therapy, Detox, Refresh, and Soft-Infrared) are available for this purpose. To improve the programs and to offer individualization, you have the option to increase or decrease the intensity of the programs separately for each seat.
Fortunately, the ATR - 2 XL also includes the new MyFamily® memory function, which gives you four MyFamily® memory slots. This allows you to save your preferred settings. For the next application, you have the option to easily and conveniently load your favorite settings such as the intensities of the infrared heaters, the maximum room temperature to be reached, the application duration, and the light options with just one touch of a button. Of course, the intensity values for each seat are saved separately.
The new 2nd generation LED color light therapy offers additional comfort and pleasant light in the Infrared Sauna. Both the reading and the color light (with 6 different colors) can be dimmed. Furthermore, you have the option to activate the automatic color change mode. The duration of the individual colors can be freely chosen (10 sec to 10 min per color).
The essential oils that are released into the room through aromatherapy flatter your sense of smell and gently unfold their effect.
The new AtroSound® music system plays your favorite music through two high-quality speakers. It can be played via USB, Bluetooth® as well as via AUX.
To increase seating comfort, we offer the comfortable AtroSoft® Premium Seat Cushions made of viscoelastic foam with a high-quality and durable artificial leather cover in the wellness package.
With the height-adjustable headrest included in the wellness package, you can lean back in a relaxed manner and relieve the neck muscles.
The new LaStone® foot massage stone grid allows for a pleasant foot reflexology massage. The grid can be easily removed, allowing for easy cleaning of the linoleum floor. So that you don't get cold feet, a CarboSens® panel heater is also installed in the floor. Warm feet also ensure undisturbed blood circulation throughout the body.
The ATR-2 XL model has more legroom compared to its sister model ATR - 2. But here too, the diagonally inclined shoulder heaters are used, as are the front heaters directed towards the body. The back heaters radiate the back from the lowest lumbar vertebra up to the neck. They are inclined by 13° degrees and thus offer greater seating comfort than in the alternative models. The shoulder heaters, also inclined by 13°, radiate the pelvic area, as well as shoulders, arms, and the sinuses.
Thanks to the calf and foot heater, the legs and feet are also supplied with gentle infrared heat radiation.
On the second seat, the other shoulder, in this case the right one, is treated specifically. Here too, the infrared heaters are adapted to the body shape and radiate the other knee. The radiation of the left shoulder is slightly less in this case due to the greater distance.
